Delegation from Lan County, Shanxi Province Visits Lianchuang Technology Park in Nanwan Subdistrict

On the afternoon of December 6, 2024, a delegation from Lan County in Lüliang, Shanxi Province, led by County Party Secretary Zhang Xinchun, People’s Congress Standing Committee Chairman Yin Yongping, Standing Committee Member and Deputy County Mayor Guo Junsheng, Standing Committee Member and United Front Work Department Minister Gao Baolin, Deputy Standing Committee Chairman Guo Jianming, and Deputy County Mayor Cheng Zhifang, visited Lianchuang Technology Park in Nanwan Subdistrict. The visit aimed to explore the successes and innovations in People’s Congress work in Nanwan, fostering experience-sharing and collaboration between the two regions.
The delegation’s first stop was the “Representatives’ Home” in Nanwan Subdistrict, where they conducted an in-depth study of its infrastructure, on-site regulations, and innovative practices. Through on-site inspections, the delegation gained a comprehensive understanding of the organizational framework, operational model, and unique highlights of the People’s Congress work in Nanwan. They also received a detailed introduction to the mechanisms for representative-voter engagement and representatives’ lawful performance of duties. The delegation highly praised Nanwan’s efforts and achievements in enhancing the service capabilities and effectiveness of its People’s Congress representatives.
Following this, the delegation toured the Lianchuang Party-Masses Activity Center and the product exhibition area of Lianchuang Group, where they witnessed the integration of local economic development with grassroots democratic governance. They also experienced the outcomes of corporate Party building and cultural development. Experts from Lianchuang Technology Group, including Lai Banzhou, Guangdong Provincial People’s Congress Representative and Party Secretary Wang Hai, and Deputy Party Secretary Lü Guomao, provided detailed presentations on the company’s growth, technical strengths, and corporate culture, giving the delegation a deeper insight into the group’s achievements.
Accompanying the delegation were Li Yijian, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Longgang District People’s Congress; Chen Shuang, Director of the Standing Committee’s Election and Appointment Office; and Ou Kunfeng, Director of the Nanwan Subdistrict People’s Congress Working Committee. Both sides engaged in productive discussions on optimizing the roles of People’s Congress representatives, improving the efficiency and quality of People’s Congress work, and expressed a strong desire to strengthen future exchanges and cooperation.
This visit not only deepened the friendship between the two regions but also provided fresh ideas and direction for the further development of People’s Congress work. Nanwan Subdistrict affirmed its commitment to continuing its exploration and refinement of People’s Congress mechanisms to contribute to the advancement of grassroots democratic governance.
