To further enhance the company's project management capabilities and ensure that new projects are completed on time, with quality and quantity, Lianchuang Appliances has officially launched the "Project Management Practical Seminar" training. This training features the renowned Chinese PMP expert, Xu Bo, who is one of the first authorized PMP lecturers by the National Foreign Experts Bureau. Key personnel from Lianchuang Appliances’ technology, development, sales, and manufacturing centers participated, along with over sixty attendees from other departments and brother companies, including the Group Finance and Audit Department, IT Process Department, Lianchuang Sanjin, Xinyangtian, Lianchuang Electromechanical, and Lianchuang Industrial Park.
The project management training consists of two sessions over three days, The training content is divided into three phases:
1. Skill Adaptation Learning: Developing the ability to manage projects effectively.
2. Simulation Drills: Engaging in practical exercises to apply learned skills.
3. Skill Enhancement: Applying project management skills to real projects.
At the beginning of the course, Mr. Xu directly addressed the core concepts, prompting participants to think using the 2W1H (What, Why, and How) framework. He discussed what project management (PM) means within the existing organizational structure of Lianchuang Appliances and how delivering project outcomes can generate benefits and create value for the organization.
Based on this understanding, Mr. Xu systematically taught advanced knowledge of project management, including the five process groups, ten knowledge areas, twelve principles, change models, the three-circle theory, and the core eight steps—practical management methods and tools. He used questions and discussions to help participants deepen their understanding and retention of the material.
On the morning Mr. Xu organized practical simulations in groups, allowing participants to experience the various stages of UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) development, production, and testing, enabling them to identify and solve potential issues ahead of time. During the process, Mr. Xu provided necessary guidance and suggestions to ensure smooth simulations, culminating in group presentations where teams modified their projects and showcased their results. This step-by-step progression covered the entire project management cycle from initiation to planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, thereby enhancing skills in demand analysis, planning, resource allocation, and risk control.
After the two-day training, Lianchuang Appliances' Executive Vice President, Yao Li, delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of drawing knowledge from training while also encouraging self-reflection and summary. She noted that each review is an opportunity for personal improvement, helping us work more effectively in the future.
Group Finance Director, Yao Jun, welcomed Mr. Xu on behalf of the group, expressing heartfelt gratitude, while also commending the participants for their pursuit of knowledge and spirit of collaboration over the two days, which are vital drivers for Lianchuang's continued progress.
Training reveals true expertise, and practice leads to genuine understanding. With the official launch of the first phase of this project management training seminar, we confidently embark on a new journey to enhance project management skills and promote efficient project execution. We believe this training will inspire deep thinking and innovative exploration in project management, laying a solid foundation for the company’s better development!
